Radisson RED, Oslo Airport

The hotel was clean, comfortable and the location was superb. It is a short walk from rental care return and a short walk to the terminal. Staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The location is ideal and the facilities are excellent.

The room was huge compared to all other hotel rooms we stayed in during our time in Norway, and we stayed in many. Although the Radisson Blu is closer to the airport, the Radisson Red is a bit further away, but the walk to and from the terminal is not long, and the walkway is covered. The room and bathroom were modern, clean, well appointed, and classically lovely. I should add that the bed was very comfortable and there were blackout curtains on the windows which is helpful in the Land of the Midnight Sun. Our stay was short, but we enjoyed the quiet and comfort of our room. We would definitely book a room at the Radisson Red in Oslo, again.

Booked as our airline left us stranded in Oslo... Place was fantastic and the extra large double was super comfy. Shower was brilliant. Literally a 5 Min walk to the airport - couldn't get any better! Breakfast was AMAZING with soooo many options. (fruit, veggies, fresh breads, fish, cereals, Oats, yoghurt, cold meats and cheese, etc etc). We checked out at 0530 only to find our next flight had been cancelled a couple hours after checkout.. So we called the hotel at 8am to see if we could check back in for a few hours of sleep and they were so lovely. Checked straight back into our room and it was easy as. We were greatly appreciative.

The room was a good size for a standard room, with a large en-suite bathroom. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice on the buffet. Only 5 minutes' walk to the terminal so ideal for an early flight.

The breakfast was exceptional. It was a buffet breakfast, with a very large selection of food, all of a very very good quality. The breads deserve a special mention. There was a selection of differently prepared eggs, various herring dishes, cheeses, meet cold cuts, fruits and vegetables and juices, a very good coffee. No need to wait for coffee as it was self serve from expresso machines. The breakfast was served in a hotel restaurant which is a modern spacious place with lots of windows, served on good china.
